Tull .. ah yes one of my other fav bands - that would be Ian Anderson (most acoustic stuff) and Martin Barre (electrics and solos, all the early stuff was a LP jr). Last time I saw them, about 6 years ago, Barre was wearing a Bball cap, and still had the big curly hair coming out the sides - looked like Bozo the Clown !!! Fit right in though, the keyboardist, and webmaster as well, looked like Uncle Fester !!!
I hate to date myself but I'm in the same camp as Old man. My heros were:

The Ventures - wish I could remember the name of their lead guitarist.
Does the name Nokie Edwards strike a chord?

It was FIRST guitar hero, right? I'd still put mine as Jimmy Page.

Have either of these guys been mentioned?

I'll Survive
intro

This intro
changed me
a few years ago when I heard it for the first time.

I've watched my Blues Master dvd over and over again, and I still can't
sound like B.B.! Listening to the Edge playing songs from Joshua Tree
gives me shivers just about every time. I like watching the U2 concert
dvd's from Netflix more than the actual album.

Gene Autry.

Does that date me or what?
